Dear Mr. Phillips,

Monday, January 14, 2019, my fifth grade class took a trip to Arcadia High School to launch our rockets with you. I would like to thank you. It was extremely fun. I especially enjoyed watching the rockets fall down.

I was inspired to continue my interest in space. I do not wonder anything because you kept us so well informed. Also this was a completely new experience and I did not know any of what you taught us except that we were building rockets! Even though I missed the first launch I don't feel like I am underprivileged because of how spectacular the second launch was.

Once again I thank you for helping us build and launch our rockets. I appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Phoenix

Dear Mr. Phillips,

Thank you for coming to Arcadia high-school and doing the rocket launches with us. I enjoyed getting to put it together and getting a sort-of cracked egg and then the actual rocket launch. It is evident that you took a lot of time to prepare for these lessons.

Some things I learned were that the thing that makes the rocket launch doesn't always work. It is important to keep trying and to figure out what when wrong. I also learned that if you don?t want the egg to be cracked you have to pack it nice and snug. We used packing peanuts and cotton balls. My team was very excited to see if the egg was cracked or not and it wasn't.

Thank you again for taking the time out of your day to come and launch some rockets with us! It was a very fun activity and I hope to do it again sometime soon! Thank you!

Sincerely,

Beatrice

Dear Mr. Phillips,

I'm writing this letter to thank you for coming to our class and going to do rockets with us. Thank you so much for spending your money and your time. I had so much fun and loved it. I also am grateful that you took the extra time to come a second day to Arcadia because the rocket launcher broke the first time. It must have been a lot of planning and work for you to do this for all five classes. It was one of the best field trips I ever went on.

I learned many things while on the field trip. I thought about the way a rocket works and how it's fueled. I also remember that things don't always work. The class learned about how to set up your rocket. I would like to find out more about how a real rocket ship works.

As a result of going on this trip, I might become a rocket scientist. I had lots of fun here are a few things I had fun with. I loved watching our rocket go up into the sky. I also liked when it blasted off.

Thank you again thank you for that experience. It made me think a lot about rocket science and how it works. It was so fun and I?m grateful I got to go.

Sincerely,

Kelly
